Lincoln Tunnel Chaos: 90-Minute Delays Due to Disabled Bus & Motorcycle Crash

Lincoln Tunnel Gridlock: 90-Minute Delays Due to Disabled Bus and Motorcycle Crash
Morning commuters faced a nightmare commute on Tuesday, with delays stretching up to 90 minutes in the Lincoln Tunnel. The culprit? A disabled bus, apparently missing a wheel, and a motorcycle crash.

The bus was stalled in the tunnel, causing major congestion. Meanwhile, the center tube was also impacted due to a motorcycle accident that occurred around 3:50 a.m., resulting in a police investigation.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to sources.
The police activity in the center tube was cleared by around 6:15, according to the Port Authority. However, traffic entering the Lincoln Tunnel remained backed up into Hoboken as of 7:20 a.m., the city's Office of Emergency Management warned.
FOX 5 sports anchor Tina Cervasio shared her own experience, noting she had been stuck in her car for two hours and twenty minutes, having only driven 16 miles.
"Might not make it to work to do my sports hits," Cervasio said, highlighting the significant impact of the delays on everyday commuters.
