Andrew Carr, a Kentucky Wildcats basketball player, recently got engaged to his girlfriend in Central Park, New York City. This romantic proposal comes on the heels of teammate Collin Chandler's engagement, also in NYC during the Wildcats' trip for the CBS Sports Classic.

He shared the joyous news on Instagram, along with the Bible verse 1 John 4:19: “We love because he first loved us.”
Carr's Performance on the Court:
Carr is currently averaging 11.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for Kentucky. His coach, Mark Pope, praised Carr's skills and compared him to NBA All-Star Lauri Markkanen.
Pope, however, expressed his desire to see Carr improve his three-point shooting. Carr’s three-point average has dropped from one made three per game at Wake Forest to 0.4 at Kentucky.
Looking Ahead:
With a busy 2025 ahead, including wedding planning and striving for a Kentucky championship, Carr has a lot on his plate! Congratulations to the happy couple!
