Kelly Ripa's Festive NYC Construction Site

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos faced a unique holiday decorating challenge this year: a construction site outside their NYC townhouse. Instead of letting it dampen their spirits, Kelly embraced the situation with her signature humor and creativity.

She decked out the temporary structures with a giant red bow and an inflatable snowman, much to the delight of neighborhood dogs (and despite Mark's initial reservations!). The construction workers, she said, were incredibly accommodating, even going so far as to let her place the snowman where she wanted it.

Christmas Tree Troubles

Their Christmas tree saga was another source of holiday amusement. Their initial tree purchase was unexpectedly enormous – so big that it was a “bloomin’ onion” and couldn’t fit in their house! This led to the adoption of a much smaller tree, affectionately dubbed "Treezempic" for its slender physique.

The smaller size presented another challenge: placing their 33-year collection of ornaments. Many now reside inside the tree itself!

Kelly's Instagram post of the "skinny" Treezempic has garnered much attention. In previous years, she has used her family photos as unique ornaments.

This year's festive decorating adventures highlight Kelly Ripa's personality – resourceful, humorous, and always up for a challenge, even if it involves a construction site and a too-big Christmas tree!
