Vice President Kamala Harris Makes Surprise Appearance on 'Saturday Night Live' Before Election

Vice President Kamala Harris made a surprise trip to New York City just days before the election to appear on 'Saturday Night Live'. Harris, who has been campaigning in battleground states, departed from a campaign stop in Charlotte, North Carolina, and flew directly to New York for the appearance.

Harris' appearance on the show was confirmed by multiple sources familiar with her plans. This marks the final 'SNL' episode before Election Day on Tuesday.

Harris' portrayal on the show has been widely praised, with actress Maya Rudolph's impression gaining critical acclaim, including from Harris herself. Rudolph's performance, which has included calling herself 'Momala,' has captured the public's imagination with its humor and accuracy.

The show's long history of featuring politicians, including Harris' opponent, former President Donald Trump, has made 'SNL' a popular platform for political commentary and entertainment.
