Police say the bone, believed to be a leg bone, was found around 12:20 p.m. near the Brooklyn Bridge Park carousel on Water Street in DUMBO amongst rocks along the East River shoreline.
On Monday, a city parks enforcement officer discovered a skull and bones wrapped in clothing.
The City Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the incidents. Police are unsure if the two bone findings are related.
