2. Apply to Lotteries You Qualify For (and Actually Want)
Don't waste your time applying for lotteries you don't qualify for or don't really want. Each lottery lists income and other requirements. Be sure to provide accurate information as your income will be verified.
3. Know Your Chances and Keep Trying
While it feels random, the lottery system uses an algorithm to randomly select applicants and assign them a number. Those who qualify and have a higher priority are selected first. Don't give up! Even if you don't win the first few lotteries, keep applying!
4. Update Your Profile
Make sure your Housing Connect profile is up-to-date with your current income, disabilities, and other information. Outdated information could disqualify you.
5. Check Your Email and Account Regularly
You have only 10 days to submit required documentation after you're contacted, so keep an eye on your email and Housing Connect account.
6. Have All Your Documents Ready
