Dog Set on Fire in Queens, NYC

A shocking act of animal cruelty has left residents of Queens, NYC, horrified. The NYPD Animal Cruelty Squad is investigating the case of a dog that was dragged down the street and subsequently set on fire.

The incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. on Thursday near 128th Street and 116th Avenue in South Ozone Park. Witnesses saw a man dragging a motionless dog before allegedly setting it alight and fleeing the scene.

Police have released images of the suspect, described as wearing a maroon Polo sweatshirt, gray pants, and a light brown MCM backpack. The suspect is wanted for arson.
