Fetterman argued that the public's trust in institutions has been eroded by these cases and stressed the need to prevent the weaponization of the legal system against political opponents. He believes that both trials were clearly politically motivated and that the charges would not have been brought had it not been for the ability to weaponize them.

The discussion on "The View" also included commentary on President Biden's pardon of his son, Hunter. Co-hosts expressed varying opinions, with some defending the President's actions while others critiqued his prior assurances that he would not pardon his son. The debate highlights the deeply divisive political climate surrounding these cases.

Radio host Charlamagne Tha God also participated in the discussion, criticizing President Biden for making promises he didn't keep regarding a potential pardon for Hunter Biden.

This situation underscores the ongoing debate surrounding the intersection of politics and justice in America.
