Cowboys and Jets: Win Now or Face the Music in 2024

The 2024 NFL season is shaping up to be a crucial one for both the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Jets. Both teams have high expectations, but also a lot of pressure to deliver.

Dallas Cowboys: A Team on the Brink

The Cowboys have been a consistent playoff contender in recent years, but their lack of a deep postseason run has left fans and management wanting more. With key players like Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons entering contract years, the pressure is on for the Cowboys to finally break through.

The Cowboys have the talent to make a Super Bowl run, but the circus atmosphere surrounding the team, including contract negotiations with multiple stars, could be a distraction. If the Cowboys don't deliver a deep playoff run, major changes could be in store.

New York Jets: A Boom or Bust Season

The Jets are entering a make-or-break season in the Aaron Rodgers era. The four-time MVP is in the twilight of his career, coming off a season-ending Achilles tear. The Jets have made a number of moves to support Rodgers, but questions remain about the team's direction. If the Jets don't end their 13-year playoff drought, the Rodgers experiment could be deemed a failure.

The Jets have a good defense, but their offense is a question mark. With a number of older veterans and injury-prone players on the roster, the Jets' margin for error is slim. A disappointing season could lead to significant changes in New York.

Both the Cowboys and the Jets have the potential to make a deep playoff run in 2024. However, the pressure is immense, and both teams face a significant risk of disappointing their fans and potentially seeing a shake-up in their organizations.
