British-Born NBA Star Anunoby's Career Night Leads Knicks to Victory
OG Anunoby, a London-born player who moved to the US at age four, put on an absolute clinic against the Denver Nuggets, scoring a career-high 40 points in the New York Knicks' resounding 145-118 win.

His previous best was 36 points, achieved while playing for the Toronto Raptors against the Knicks in 2021.
Anunoby, who joined the Knicks via a trade from Toronto in December 2023 and re-signed on a five-year contract this summer, is the only British player to win an NBA Championship (2018-19 with the Raptors).
The Knicks' impressive victory, their fifth in six games, was fueled by a dominant first half where they scored 76 points. Teammates Karl-Anthony Towns (30 points, 15 rebounds) and Jalen Brunson (23 points, a career-high 17 assists) also contributed significantly.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets suffered their second consecutive home loss.
