Blood Cancer United's Light The Night Manhattan gathers at Pier 17 at the South Street Seaport on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 5:30 p.m. Companies, families and survivors walk together to raise money for blood cancer research and patient support. Registration is free; walkers are encouraged to fundraise toward the chapter's goal. Patients and survivors receive a special shirt and white lantern for the evening program. The event site is 89 South Street at Pier 17.
