About this event

RiseBoro's ¡CalabazaFest! fills Maria Hernandez Park in Bushwick on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a free mix of Día de los Muertos and Halloween traditions. Performances start at noon, including Mariachi Internacional Tapatio and Ballet Folklorico Mis Raices Paulino, and the costume contest is at 2 p.m. Families can carve pumpkins and then compost them with BK Rot. If it rains, the festival moves to the RiseBoro Youth Center.
