Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central turns into a marathon-week hub from Tuesday, Oct. 27, through Friday, Oct. 30, as the TCS New York City Marathon marks 50 years of running through all five boroughs. The free pop-up opens at 10 a.m. on Tuesday and runs 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. the rest of the week. Expect a DJ, a projected wall of runners' names, giveaways and appearances by past champions, plus a group goal of logging 1,976,000 steps in honor of the first five-borough race in 1976. Drop in on the way to or from a train.
