SantaCon 2024: A Sea of Santas Takes Over Manhattan!
The 25th annual SantaCon bar crawl returned to New York City, transforming Manhattan streets and subways into a festive wonderland of Santas. This year's event started at Broadway and West 39th Street and concluded in the East Village.

- Public Transportation Restrictions: Due to the large crowds, public transportation agencies implemented alcohol restrictions.
- NJ Transit: Prohibited all beverages on trains, light rail, and buses on December 14th (NYC SantaCon) and December 21st (Hoboken SantaCon).
- MTA (Metro-North & LIRR): Alcohol consumption banned on trains and platforms from 4 a.m. on December 14th to 12 p.m. on December 15th. Increased police presence at major stations to enforce the ban. Violators face fines and removal from trains.
