Golf Club Attack at NYC Subway Station
A 66-year-old woman was brutally assaulted with a golf club at the Cortlandt Street Subway Station in Lower Manhattan on Friday morning. The attack, which occurred around 7:30 a.m., left the victim with a head laceration. She was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
The assailant, described as a male, approximately 5'6" tall and weighing 150 lbs, fled the scene. He was last seen wearing a tan skull cap, grey scarf, tan shirt, tan pants, and black shoes.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
