Good Company, a bi-level restaurant and cocktail bar from the team behind Yesterday's and Waiting on a Friend, is open at 343 West Broadway in SoHo — the former Little Ways space — according to the venue's website and contemporaneous coverage.

Where and who

The restaurant's site greets visitors with "We've arrived" and lists 343 W Broadway. Great Bites reported an Oct. 8 opening; Village Reader and Hoodline placed the debut around the same midweek window. Founders Jesse Rosen and Mike Kanevsky previously opened Waiting on a Friend in the East Village and Yesterday's on Bleecker Street earlier this year, those outlets reported.

Executive chef Robert Sieber's résumé includes Daniel Boulud's DB Bistro Moderne and New York's two-Michelin-starred Korean restaurant Jungsik, plus leadership roles at The Surf Lodge and The Snow Lodge, according to Great Bites and Hoodline.

What's on the menu

Coverage describes an everyday neighborhood room rather than a tasting-menu destination: shareable plates such as mortadella skewers with hot honey, a signature Good Burger, a crispy fish sandwich and a build-your-own banana split. The bar program, from the same beverage team as Yesterday's, includes the Matchapeno — jalapeño-infused tequila, lime and matcha — Great Bites and Hoodline reported.

Designer Yakka Studio, which also did Yesterday's, handled the two-level interior, according to reporting cited by Hoodline. Private-event inquiries are already open on the restaurant's site.
