How to apply

  • Apply through NYC Housing Connect, the city's official portal run by HPD, or by mail using the paper application listed there. Third-party sites only summarize the listing.
  • Count everyone who will move in, including children. Your household's total yearly income before taxes has to fall inside the range for the unit size you apply for.
  • Applying is free. No one may charge you to apply or promise you a better spot in the lottery.

Other open Brooklyn lotteries with the same Nov. 18 deadline include 1058 Pacific Street in Crown Heights, where rents start at $975.
