About this event
The Whitney opens Roy Lichtenstein: Like New on Sunday, Oct. 11, the first New York retrospective of the Pop artist since 1993. It pairs many of his best-known paintings with lesser-known works and four re-created murals, tracing six decades of painting, drawing, sculpture, film and prints. Opening day falls on a Free Second Sunday, so admission to the whole museum is free, but tickets are required and capacity is limited. All-ages artmaking sessions tied to the show start at 11 a.m. The exhibition runs through May 10, 2027.
