NYC's 2024 White Christmas Forecast: A Snowy Surprise?

Christmas Eve Snow

Christmas Eve brought snowfall to parts of the tri-state area. Coastal areas saw around an inch, while Northwest New Jersey, the Catskills, and Hudson Valley experienced 2-3 inches.

Higher elevations in New Jersey, the Poconos, Catskills, and Hudson Valley are likely to see a White Christmas. Coastal areas, however, are less likely to meet the one-inch threshold.
