About this event
The Van Cortlandt Park Alliance is leading a volunteer forest restoration along the southern Old Croton Aqueduct Trail. The work is pulling invasive bush honeysuckle and multiflora rose by hand so native trees and wildflowers can come back. NYC Parks lists it on Fridays in October, 9 a.m. to noon, meeting at the public restroom building inside Classic Playground at Van Cortlandt Park South and Gouverneur Avenue. It is free.
