Mangione faces multiple charges, including weapons possession and forgery. He allegedly used an untraceable ghost gun.
Mangione was apprehended in Pennsylvania with the weapon and additional ammunition. He is expected to waive extradition on Thursday. His lawyer is Karen Friedman Agnifilo, a former high-ranking official in the Manhattan DA's office.

Police reports suggest Mangione had been fixated on UnitedHealthcare for months and planned the CEO's murder.
This case has sparked intense online debate, with some surprisingly expressing support for the suspect and even contributing to a defense fund.
